The 29 spline 8.25 is definitely an improvement, the bad I think you may need to make a change to your Driveshaft (you can have mine from a 98 XJ with an Auto just PM me) Not sure about the ABS, Good Luck Patrick let me know if this would help

I would look for a 29 spline 8.25. At the rate your going it should supply plenty of strength at the cost of an easy swap.

I don't think these work because of non-C Clip vs Patrick's C-Clip version.

C clip and non c clip axle shafts are not interchangeable and I believe the superior shafts are of a higher spline count (30 spline) iirc.

just disconnect the abs wires and take the relays/fues out, the braking system will work fine without it. ( I did this to mine when i installed my 44 and mine's a dd as well)

Don't wast your time with the Dana 35. The 8.25 will stand up much better for your use, is inexpensive, and is bolt in. What gear ratio do you have? 3.55
